Mixed media and mainly acrylic paint but some have textures from paper. Often an over paint that adds hidden dimension to the piece. Other textures could even include sand, pine needles etc. Anything that may have dropped or blown onto the piece while painting "en Plien air" ( outdoors) . Some of the pieces have also been created inside the studio from reference photos while on location.
Pieces are painted on a "5x7" canvas board, 1/8" thick.
