summer camps 2020
It is with a heavy heart that I am announcing the cancellation of the
2020 Art with Bonnie Summer Camps
The decision to cancel was not made lightly. At this time though, my top priority is the health and safety of all of the children who attend my classes and camps.
There have been many factors all related to the covid-19 pandemic
that have led me to this decision.
The main factors are all of the uncertainty attached to reopening (phase 2). Parents are uncertain about their children attending, the municipality of North Grenville is uncertain whether they will open the pool and how it will work if they do,
uncertainty about a “second wave” and just not knowing what is going to happen next.
The ministry of health currently has very strict (although necessary) guidelines that are really not conducive to a fun camp experience.
I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause or has caused anyone.
Moving forward to September, I will have to wait and see what the conditions will be. I am planning to offer day camps during the week from September – December if the schools do not go back to full enrollment in the fall.
