Acrylic paints will be used to explore the painting techniques used by many of the members of the group of seven. We will start with value studies to prepare for a tonal value under painting. Then using basic colour theory we will establish a palette of colour for our pieces. We will work through the various stages of the paintings development together with first hand demonstrations to so that each step is clear and easily repeated. Glazing techniques will also be explored. All materials included.
