Artist Statement / About my MENAGERIE series
They started as Cats in Glasses then to Cats in Cars, Scuba and more. But now I have added a MENAGERIE of animal friends to the collection. Birds, bears, lions and tigers ...oh my. And yes, coming soon ...Dogs! Yeah.
Each of my creative creature collages is a mixture of found images, drawings from my sketchbooks, acrylic paint, resin, cut paper, fabric and polymers.
